Vintage Tonala Mexican Pottery Horse Shaped Piggy Bank Hand Painted Animal Clay Folk Art Ceramic Coin Bank Mexico Artisan Home Decor

This beautiful Mexican Tonala pottery horse shaped piggy bank is made of clay ceramic and is hand painted in colorful folk art designs. There is a slot for coins on the horse's back. There is no way to get the money out again so it can either be a purely decorative piece or your coins will have to stay put until the horse is broken open! The bank stands 7" tall and is in lovely vintage condition with only very tiny spots of wear to the paint (see photos). There are a few natural imperfections from when the piece was made, such as tiny smudges in the paint or glaze drips, nothing that affects the overall beauty of the piece.
