Vintage Rare 1930s 1940s Early Monet Brooch Gold Tone Bar Pin Half Sphere Laurel Leaves Signed Statement Jewelry Orb Long Scepter Lapel Pin

This is a rare find and beautiful early piece by Monet. The Monet signature on the back is all uppercase with no trademark symbol and helps date the brooch between 1937 and 1954.  There is a half-sphere (about 1″ or 2.5cm in diameter) with laurel leaves at the wider end of the bar, and a laurel leaf accent at the narrower end. The brooch measures 3 3/8″ long (8.5 cm) and beautiful vintage condition with only light signs of wear.  The pin mechanism works beautifully.
