These vintage 1970s wall plaques feature reproductions of artwork by Anton Pieck, a Dutch painter and graphic artist who lived from 1895 – 1987. One plaque features a bustling street scene in front of a nautical shop called "The Great Britain" and the other features a scene outside a tavern called "Old Queen's Head". Both are on particle board plaques with holes on the back for wall hanging. There is one flaw in the sign on "The Great Britain" where it looks like the a small hole was ripped and the image bunched slightly while it was being glued on (see close up photo). It at least blends fairly well into the overall picture unless you're looking for it. The other plaque has a mark on the back, but nothing that is noticeable from the front, Each plaque measures 9" x 6 1/4".
