Vintage Yellow and Chartreuse Green Butterfly Brooch Made in West Germany Lightweight Plastic or Painted Eloxal 3D Insect Pin

This vintage butterfly brooch is signed "Made in W. Germany" on the back, and has a 3D design in beautiful yellow and green. It's very lightweight, and feels like plastic but looks more like metal underneath the color on the edges (possibly painted eloxal?), so I'm not certain of the material, but it feels very sturdy even though it is lightweight. It measures 2 1/4" x 1 3/4" (5.8 x 4.5 cm) and is in very good vintage condition.
